I’ve wanted to do a contest here for a little while but had a hard time coming up with prize ideas since actually sending chocolate right now isn’t much of an option (still way too hot). So when I did my post the other day about the theobromine molecule t-shirts a lightbulb went off and I had my prize!
You now have the chance to be the owner of a Theobromine Molecule T-shirt! There are two ways to enter, please read carefully:
Get two submissions to win: Leave a comment here with a link to the most obscure and/or bizarre chocolate item you can find online. Link to this contest from your own site or weblog and include the URL to the entry with your submission and you now have two chances to win!
OR
Get one submission to win: If you can’t find something obscure or bizarre then just link to this contest from your own site or weblog and comment here with a link to your entry; this is good for one chance to win! (I need to be able to see it though, so make sure it’s not a locked or friends-only entry.)
That’s it! If it’s something you actually own then take a picture of it, upload it to a site like Flickr and leave the URL in the comments of this entry. Make sure you leave a valid email address with your submission (it will not be displayed on the site and will not be used for anything else), and a URL if you have one so I can feature everyone at the end of the contest.
The contest will run until August 31 at 11:59pm Pacific. A name will then be drawn from the eligible submissions on September 1 using the super technical method of pieces of paper in a hat, and the winner will be notified by email and announced here on the site. The winner will then need to send me their mailing address to have the t-shirt sent to, so if you’re not comfortable with that then please don’t enter (though it will never be used for anything else).
This is open to residents of the continental U.S. and Canada only.
If you’re in the US: You can choose between the ThinkGeek style (Women’s style, pink on brown) or the Moleculewear styles (regular or girlie style, green on black).
If you’re in Canada: Your shirt will be coming from Moleculewear because they have excellent shipping rates. You can pick the regular or the girlie style, and the colors are green on black.
Disclaimers
- If you win you’ll need to provide my with the t-shirt size you’d like. You don’t get a choice on which molecule you’d like, though – this is a chocolate site, you’re stuck with chocolate!
- If you pick the wrong size and wish to exchange it the responsibility is yours: I will not pay for shipping back to the store and then back again to you.
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- I am not responsible for printing mess-ups, shipment re-scheduling, or laundry mishaps.
Good luck!!

Holy, 37 (now 38 comments) AND gross items. I am so having a chocolate contest! Good idea Heather. I also think the chocolate bar that clears up acne is a little odd considering chocolate doesn’t cause acne. That means –it’s just chocolate. People will sell anything.
I blogged about it & found a chocolate bar that clears up acne, I thought that was pretty strange.
