The Easy Pull Can Recycling System is touted as being “75% easier to use than other can crushers” – it’s a simply system, really. Just put in the can, crush, and the crushed can is automatically dispensed. The product will not rust, and apparently is designed so any loose liquid is less likely to splash you. The crusher needs only 7 pouds of pressure to crush and has a rotating hand grip. Can be mounted for ease of use.
The reviews on Amazon for this product are very high; it has 5 stars and 30 reviews, which is pretty amazing!

We can hope! Some manufacturers actually *do* respond to customer suggestions :-)
Cindi;
Thanks! It’s a nice unit but it’s still a one can at a time deal. I’m really looking for a hand crank auto-feeder. I don’t need a machine gun, a gatling gun will do. It would be nice if it would do multiple size cans. Even nicer if I could pick up the top from the bag holder and do steel cans after I’m done with the aluminum ones.
That one only handles 12 oz aluminum cans which means I can’t just dump the bagful in the hopper (which it also doesn’t have) and start pumping. I expressed all this to the customer service that you refered me to so perhaps that will give the designer an idea or so …. ????
Wow, I see what you mean…there seem to be very few in the mid-range. I found one here which looks like it might be promising:

You need to start training the 3 year old now :-)
It looks nice. Plastic so it will wear but maybe it will be ok for a family. However, I’m tired of looking at crushers that do 1 to 10 cans for 20 bucks followed up by ones that do 100′s per hour for 3-4 thousand.
I’m looking for one that will handle 15-20 in a bin and let me do a church collection day in a couple of hours or so. I get handed 4-5 grocery bags of cans (2-400) every week and it takes all week to deal with them as I have a real job to do as well. Heck our family of 8 puts out a grocery bag or 2 per week as well but at least they do it themselves. Some weeks I get a garbage bag or 2 along with the normal … No, I don’t have any teenagers (81, 66, 56, 54, 24, 3, 1.75 ,7mo) to give the job to. Any ideas at $100.00 or less ???
