I get really tired of finding my fresh herbs moldy after only a few days in my fridge. Whether I buy those expensive little packages at the grocery store or I pluck them from my own garden, I seem to throw an awful lot of tasty goodness away. Well, it’s not so tasty when I actually throw it out, but anyway…
What I often do is to make ice cubes or olive oil ice cubes from the herbs, but that’s only when I remember. So here’s a nifty container called the Cuisipro Herb Keeper for your refrigerator that keeps them upright, with the stems in water for hydration. It can fit on your refrigerator door if you’d like, and you can also use it for asparagus. About $20.

I really like this. It is an old concept of putting your herbs in water, but I like that it has a lid and keeps the herbs contained in a small space and that it would be less likely to spill in the fridge.
