Presto’s Peel-a-Meal is an electronic peeler! I had no idea such things existed!!
The peeler works on a variety of produce – potatoes, carrots, apples and more! It takes up to 2 lbs of produce at a time. Simply put the food into the bowl, cover, and turn on. The reviews seem to indicate it’s great for potatoes, though you may need to still get out the deeper pits yourself.
Also has a salad spinner attachment.

My mom totally bought something like this at a yardsale when I was 12 or so.
It was horrible. We decided it was by far faster to hand-peel the potatoes, because all the thing did was whirl them around in a cheese-grater-eqsue style bowl.
She also bought a egg desheller, and an in-shell scrambler-thing. My mom bought the weirdest things at yardsales…
