Halloween is so fun for kids, and it can be fun for mom too, if you enjoy being creative.
When you’re on a budget some of the Halloween costumes can be quite pricey. I looked around to see if I could find some cute children’s costumes you could make yourself.
Take a look at some of these ideas, then put your own spin on things, and add your own ideas. Look around in your sewing room, you may just find you already have everything you need. Most require fabric, or a sweat suit to make, with extras like wire, paint, cardboard, and construction paper to finish the look.
All of the patterns and ideas listed here are free to use. Most of the instructions look fairly simple and straight forward.

My kids always loved anything where I painted their faces! The costume was almost an afterthought for them…which made it much less expensive LOL!
