Bacteria and the Human Body

If you don’t have the creepy crawlies, yet, just wait until you read this! New research suggests that the human body has about 1,000 species of bacteria on the epidermis. One thousand different species! Certain areas that are more “moist” (like the belly button and inner bend of the elbow) have up to “10 times as many bacteria per square inch compared with” the dryer areas, like the mid forearm.

What this means is that bacteria can not only be a good thing, it’s also essential to our health.

I deeply belive it is time for more people to be starting “healing gardens”. The veterans, our troops, their families, the Fallen, the MIAs and the POWs should be more permanently remembered. Their families have often reverberated that “they feel they have been forgotten”. Ten years ago I organized a “healing garden” in our community to commemorate Memorial Day. Each year we see how it helps ease their pain. Peace and “healing” must absolutly become more strongly encouraged in the lives of people in these United States of America. It is very vital to the growth and strength of many future generations to come!
