I just thought I’d introduce myself since the announcement of the arrival of a new Dame was made earlier.
Hi, I’m Sasha. I’ve agreed to join Gayla here at Dating Dames.
Before you start thinking that I have all the answers to all your burning love queries, I tell you, STOP. RIGHT. THERE. Teehee. I’m definitely no expert in the love department nor will I ever be. Then why did they decide to take me on then? Well, I reckon they saw what I can do for all the readers of Dating Dames — I can be someone you guys can relate to. Hmmm. I guess I should explain myself, huh?
Alright, then. Dear me, this is going to hurt… of course, I’m only kidding.
I’m 28 and still single. I have been for the last 6 years. I only had one real, long-term relationship that — should I say, left me heavily scarred. Hey, I’m not going to go into the whole sob story of my failed relationship here so enough about that. Anyway, I’ve decided, soon after, that I’m braving the world of dating, which still confuses me sometimes and yea, terrifies me to the point that I just want to give up on the whole thing. However, along the way, I’ve managed to find myself thinking a lot about this area of my life. And you know what I know for a fact? We’re all in the same boat. We’re all here looking for the same thing — real, honest-to-goodness, passionate Love. Okay, we can also call it our Soul Mate.
In my search for my ever-elusive Soul Mate, I’ve stumbled upon things I definitely learned from. I’m highly curious, you see. Hahaha. But I’m adamant that I will find him one day. So, in the meantime, I’ll be here blogging away.
I’ll be around to share my thoughts on the matter and experiences, too. I can truly say I understand you guys because I’m still there, too. I’ll let you know about the stuff I’ve learned along the way and perhaps we can even swap some dating stories, too. Wouldn’t that be fun?
I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts and also to creating friendships with you guys. We’re all in this together.
