Kudzu Could Help With Prediabetes?

Kudzu is known as a vine that can grow rapidly. Because of that, it’s often thought of as a nuisance, especially in the south. Now, however, people may be singing its praises.

New research has discovered that when taking the root extract of kudzu and adding it to the regular diet of lab rats, the rats “cholesterol, blood sugar, insulin, and blood pressure levels were lower than those of rats that did not receive the extract.” This all happened without side effects as well.
Researchers are hopeful that this could help with people eventually developing Type 2 diabetes.
