Fast food places all over are revamping their menu to include healthier fare. But can you really lost weight by eating at a fast food place? One author says you can, and gives tips about what you should (and shouldn’t) eat.

For example, many folks love McDonald’s. If you eat their Deluxe Breakfast (at 1,370 calories), you aren’t going to be doing yourself any favors in the weight loss department. On the other hand, eating their Eat McMuffin (at 300 calories) is a much better way to start your day.
With fast food places offering more choices, we can still have the convenience. We just have to be smarter about what we order.
