Salt – The Enemy

Popcorn Salt With the exception of putting salt on popcorn, and rimming margarita glasses, I rarely use salt. Actually I use salt less than rarely.

Despite having low blood pressure, and being sodium deficient. I crave it all the time, but I find that there is too much salt in foods to begin with. So I just don’t use it.

Last night I had left over indian food for dinner, and this morning I woke up with my joints all swollen. OK only my wrists are swollen, but the rest of me feels like I sprained every other joint in my body. It feels wrong….and I am pretty sure that its due to my salt intake.

So now I am guzzling water like its going out of style.

Yuck!

This just made me think that there is going to be a huge positive media campaign surrounding salt….like the ones for milk, pork, and potatoes. Can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Which are full of chemicals, and the very nasty mineral called salt. The last little while, this kind of food has been featured in my eating habits. It totally has to stop. Yesterday, I woke up with swollen joints, and this morning I awoke with searing back pain. I know that stress is a large factor here….but eating as badly as I have been, is certainly not helping.
