South Beach Check-In: Week 2

South Beach DietHey all. Again, I have been so busy that I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday. But, here I am checking in for my second week of South Beach-ing.

I still haven’t lost any weight, but I have had issues with my thyroid in times past and plan to get a full physical soon. I know, it’s disappointing when I feel like I’m doing everything I can – including exercise!

However, I believe I will move on to Phase 2 this week. I had a turkey, cheese and veggie wrap today – it was delicious! I missed my whole grains and that’s what I enjoy about South Beach vs. Atkins.

For exercise, including being on my feet all day, I’ve been doing intervals on the the treadmill and going to yoga. I’ll take a break this week for Thanksgiving and go to the gym instead.
