Using visualization to manage your pain

Can pain be managed through the way you think? Many schools of thought believe that your thoughts play a strong role in how you feel pain.

Visualization, the act of imagining and visualizing pleasant thoughts over what is happening at that moment, is becoming more popular and does seem to have a role to play in pain management.

Yes! Check out the Pain CD by Nancy Hopps in her “Relax into Healing” series. (I think that’s the title.) I keep it permanently on my nightstand and it’s the best one I’ve found!

Hey, I really enjoyed reading this. I’m interested in learning more. I’d also like to share with you this book I finished that might offer you some new insights. It’s called Harmonic Wealth and it’s all about finding harmony in your life in all areas – financial, relational, mental, physical, and spiritual. It has some really good tips about how to engage all five pillars (or areas) of your life, and to learn more about how they complement each other. Rather than dealing with each issue individually, maybe take a look at the bigger picture.

Here’s the link to that book I recommend: harmonicwealth.com/read
