As the school year starts, think about this stat: two-thirds of children under the age of six have never had an eye exam by an eye doctor. When it comes to kids in school, vision problems can have a big impact.

Eye exams are just as important as trips to the dentist. Visiting the eye doctor annually is recommended by the American Optometrc Association for anyone age 6 months and older, not just kids in school. With all the time we spend at computers, eyestrain is a problem as well. Your eye doctor can help.
