ZOOB: DNA Building Set

You’d think I’d know a lot about toys, but I had never heard of the ZOOB building set until I came across it at Every Little Wonder.

ZOOB is an acronym for Zoology, Ontology, Ontogeny, and Botany and was inspired by DNA.

Where Does ZOOB Come From?

ZOOB’s shape is inspired by the nucleotides (the basic structural units of nucleic acids) that make up DNA. Based on the way things connect, move and transform in nature, ZOOB captures dynamic movement, unlike traditional “stacking” or “hub & spoke” construction sets.

I want! I want! I want!
