Diaper-Free Movement Finally Getting Coverage

After years of being side-lined and dismissed while diaper companies produce diapers for children as old as ten, elimination communication is finally getting some coverage. Check out this quote from a Yahoo News article on the subject:

Parents who practice the so-called “elimination communication” learn to read their children’s body language to help them recognize the need, and they mimic the sounds that a child associates with the bathroom.

Thank goodness this topic is finally being discussed in mainstream media. Our environment can’t take the stress of our diaper addictions any longer.

Diaper-FREE babies is the way to go!!! Practiced EC with my youngest since birth and we’ve never bought a single disposable diaper. Healthy for baby, and friendly to the parents’ pockets!

Jeanie- I found it easier with my first than I do with our second, but I agree the rewards to everyone are worth it.

We did a version of this with my daughter – time consuming – yes, but then as a doting mother of a sole child I could afford it – and the rewards justify!
