Digital Painting Tutorial

Digital Paintbrush

If you remember Genece Hamby’s digital painting tutorial, then you will enjoy her latest endeavour. The talented lady has begun weekly digital painting tutorials for you to enjoy. Her first lesson is titled Stillness at Sea and takes you step by step through the process used to create a simple yet lovely piece of art. It’s a great lesson if you need help with ideas on digitally created art you want to use in your visual journal. I particularly like this idea for background pages to enter written entries on.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial. Be sure to check Genece’s blog for next week’s lesson. Please leave any comments in the section below.

    Hi Peggy,
I don’t even have Photoshop! I hope this encourages you to look beyond the basic things you are doing with the software now. Thanks for leaving a comment. ;-)

Not sure if I’m familiar enough with PhotoShop for this tutorial. I can resize photos in it and crop, but that’s about all I do.
