I love back to school shopping, i think is so much fun going with the kids to buy what they need and letting them pick what colors they want their notebooks, folder,bookbags,etc. i do not dislike anything about the shopping, i spend so much time in my kids school as a school leader team member and a learning leader , I love being involve with the schools a lot
My favorite part about school shopping for my kids is that it takes me back 20 years to my school days. The smell of pencils, the excitement of a new year.. Least favorite part is .. well shopping. Not too fond of the other people I have to maneuver around to get to the place I need.
Back to School shopping is so much fun for my family. We wake up early that morning, map out the stores with the sales and hit the road for the day. Sometimes we don’t even eat breakfast. In between time we have lunch and it is just like our time to bond with each other before going back to school. We love trying to beat everyone to the supplies that cost from one cents to twenty-five cents. We also get to shop for clothes while we are out which is so much fun. The saddest part of the shopping experience is going home. But, their is still another day if we play our card right.
I like school because the kids stay and learn fun exciting things to share with me and there baby brother. I don’t like that I don’t get much time iwth the kids.
I have three kids in different schools. Their supplies lists equal up to about $100 a piece. I am a single mom on a limited income. Last year, I managed to get everything on the lists, in the right brand and right color which was difficult to say the least. Then one week later I get a call from the school saying my son has no supplies. After some inquiry, I found out that they go around and ask kids to donate a portion of their supplies. Well, my son has Asperger’s and he donated all of his supplies. I didn’t know they were taking up donations because I would have asked to be put on that list. This is why we are not suppose to write their names on the supplies and why they need so many of each item.
I love seeing the children with their parents getting ready to take on a new world. This reminds me of my many trips to the store to buy my supplies that got me ready for a whole new school year, and teacher. Now I go and buy supplies for all my children “students” for the coming school year. I am as excited as the studentsor more importantly the parents.

There’s nothing I don’t love about about shopping for school supplies! I have a thing for any kind of office supply stuff.

My favorite part of back to school is seeing how excited they get over their new supplies. They feel ready to take on the (school) world! My least favorite part is the expense….
I can’t really think of any part of back to school shopping that I like. Mostly because I miss my sweetie so much when she’s gone! Maybe buying her bts clothes. That’s kind of fun! Thanks!
I think I like school supplies more than my kids do. hehe It’s amazing that another year is soon to be upon us.
By far my most favorite part of back to school shopping is letting my kids (one age 8 and twins age 6) pick out their own backpacks. Too cute! Thanks for the chance to win some much needed school supplies. :)
