Feeding Bottle Considerations

Are you in the process of weaning your baby? Do you know what kind of feeding bottles to get so that your baby doesn’t reject it?

I’ve collated a list of things you need to consider when buying feeding bottles:

1. Bottles must be BPA-free
2. Wide-necked bottles for easy cleaning
3. Feeding nipple that mimics mommy’s breasts
4. Get a brand of feeding bottles that is proven less colic attacks — not sure if this really works as there are babies that are born colicky but if you can reduce the incidence of colic attacks by carefully selecting the correct type of feeding bottle then what have you got to lose
5. Must be shatter-proof — you want the feeding bottles to last as long as they are needed. With babies learning to hold the bottle, there will be a lot of “accidents” where they drop the bottle so the bottles you choose must survive these incidents.
