Green Christmas Book

Green Christmas: How to Have a Joyous, Eco-Friendly Holiday Season by Jennifer Basye Sander & Peter Sander is not only small in price (under$6.00), but small in size too, so it’ll fit nicely in a stocking.

Green Christmas covers most issues you’d expect, like why go green this Christmas to eco-family holiday time to green entertaining to green holiday vacations and more.

This book offers easy tips without green guilt trips, and best of all offered suggestions about how to deal with family members who still want a more commercial Christmas. The book offers fun kitchen activities, Christmas crafts, some holiday homeschooling ideas, and lots more.

Tip section offer bold or italic headings, so flipping through this book is easy. Plus pages are printed on 100% recycled paper. All the green holiday basics are covered – what sort of tree to buy, the cost of travel, and even how to build an eco-fire.

I think a list of resources, products, and links offered in the back of the book would have been nice. They do offer resource links, but not in the back, which annoys me. Plus there could have easily been some pictures. Overall though, this is a nice little book for the holidays, not to mention inexpensive, so you can get one for all your pals.
