I have to admit, I’m not always good about wearing an apron in the kitchen – when I’m teaching?  My apron is a must-have!  Especially when I’ve got a class of 15, six year olds using acrylic paint…

Martha Stewart Crafts has a great how-to for an easy apron pattern.  It adjusts on the sides to fit almost any size or shape – instantly.

You could even make a smaller version for your kids… or make one for the kitchen and one for your studio….  How about using some iron-on vinyl to make a water-proof panel  in the front?  Too plain?  Applique something cute onto the front!
