I’m depressed. I am not a very well to do person and I don’t own credit cards. I am trying to find out how to make a bra from scratch. I cannot find anything online. no bra making classes are available in my city/country. please help me. I’ve searched many websites- but all require me to buy a pattern. isn’t there anybody out there who teaches how to take measurements and draft a pattern for a bra. I’m trying to equip myself to provide for the family here. please please help

[...] For this month’s Carnival of Breastfeeding, we are sharing tips for saving money while breastfeeding (see more entries at the end of this post). My tip is not strictly for breastfeeding, although I did share a reader’s tip yesterday on a frugal choice for a nursing bra, and I have previously written about Five Money-Saving Alternatives to Traditional Nursing Clothing, and I have several tutorials on how to make your own Hooter Hider-Type Nursing Cover, Knitted Nursing Tank Top, Pullover Crew Neck Baby Bib, Baby Bib with Neck Ties, Ring Sling, Nursing Necklace, Nursing Pads, Baby Booties, Cloth Diapers, Nursing Pillow, Nursing Shirt, Nursing Bra and Pumping Bra, Cloth Diapers, and More. Small world!! Thanks so much for passing on the link. I’m glad you find the information helpful.
Oh my gosh – I am just getting to this entry into the Festival of Family Flair! How funny, as I just submitted my own entry into your carnival. ;)
Anyway, I am sending this link to a couple of my online lists right now! I know so many of the members there will appreciate this compilation. Personally, I can’t sew, but I’ve purchased these things from WAHMs who do. Although I *have* always wanted to make a no-sew wrap… no more kids for us, though, so maybe it’ll be a gift. :D
