This isn’t a machine likely to show up at a home, but it’s intriguing all the same. Imagine the ease of a pancake breakfast fundraiser with a ChefStack – an automatic pancake machine that neatly stacks up to 200 pancakes an hour!

All you do is add the pre-packed bags of batter. ChefStack seems ideal for hotels, churches, cafeterias or schools. The machines can also be set up as self-service for gas stations. I heard about ChefStack at the forever-interesting Popular Science.
According to ChefStack.com, the pancakes are 97% fat free and all-natural with only 165 calories per two pancake serving.
ChefStack is the very first automatic pancake machine offered in the US, and it became available earlier this summer. This genius of a machine is about the size of a microwave, and sells for $3,500. Yet, ChefStack notes that they will also rent or lease machines.
What do you think about this automatic pancake machine?

jeez – the church I volunteer at could use one of these nifty machines! holy cow – thanks for sharing!
Would not be a bad idea for fund raisers for schools, churches etc..everyone loves a pancake breakfast…well, almost:)
”ChefStack seems ideal for hotels, churches, cafeterias or schools’.
Why does a church need to make pancakes…? When I saw the machine, I must admit, it’s not the first thing that jumped into my head…’Gosh, if Jesus had had one of those he could have served up pancakes with the loaves & fish’.
Nice! This would be a good help for quick breakfasts on the go, considering all my friends would be there as well!
Also helps you stack. Easier to own people that way!
@webhiker – You tool, they’re pancakes. Flapjacks are made with oats. Have you even ever left the country? They’re nothing like flapjacks, which you’d know if you’d ever been to the US/Canada… more like ‘Scotch Pancakes’ that you buy in stores. PANCAKES being the keyword there.
If anything, they are more like the US ‘flapjacks’, which are unlike our own.
Yes, i’m from England also.
But I like my pancakes homemade… What if I don’t want to use a mix?
This is why Americans are so fat.
No, those are not pancakes, they are flapjacks. If you insist on stealing our culture, at least have the grace to give it a new name, like you did for baseball (the english childrens game of rounders).
You wouldn’t need to eat anything else for the rest of your life!
If there is a god, this is what it looks like.
Would be great fun having one of these! You could fill or top your pancakes with jam, ice cream, pudding (they do this is Hungary), honey, peanut butter, etc.
Wow, every mom needs one of these, especially with the growing kids. :) Imagine the ease of mornings with a contraption like this.
Hello fellow pancake lovers. Nice to hear from you!
I need to own this.
Omg, this is so AWESOME
I want one!!!
I’d do what they do in bars, sit under the part where the pancakes come out of and eat them as they come out!!! Im sure i’ll be full in 3 minutes (over 10 pancakes)
:D
