Think vertical is in every passionate organizers list of rules. Time and time again I hear people say that they can’t stay organized because their house is too small and they just don’t have enough storage space. Well, that is the case usually for two reasons. Number one, they have WAY too much stuff and they need to downsize and number two, they don’t look up. There is precious space that is wasted if you don’t think vertical.
Here are some “Think Vertical” storage ideas for you today grouped by room.

Hang towel rails or hooks behind bedroom doors for personal towels can be stored there. Bathroom towel rails can then be reserved for guest towels. Allocate a different colour towel and washer to each family member to make it easy to keep track of which belongs where.
Julie,
I have used the Tote Trac system on my garage. It can be used on the walls or ceilings and it is much easier to install. I thought you might want to check it out for future posts. You can check out their website at http://www.totetrac.com

Thanks Diane! Great idea. :)
I found using a plastic, over the door, shoe organizer, works great in the bathroom and RV’s for colorful towels that match your decor. Just hang it on the shower curtain rod. Its easy to slide out of the shower or tub, and just grab a bath towel. I roll up the towels and insert them in the plastic shoe holder, and you can see the pretty colors of the towels through the plastic. This is a good sheet organizer as well.
