If you have a dog or cat patient enough to wear a Halloween costume, please exercise caution during the fun. It’s wise to always supervise your pet while it’s wearing a costume. Pet costumes may become hung on objects, endangering your pet.
For those of you with patient pets and watchful eyes, I’ve noted some places where you can buy costumes for your kitty or dog.

SpoiledRottenDoggies.com has a good selection of canine costumes. Their licensed costumes include Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, Superman, Scooby Doo, Spiderman and Wonder Woman. They also offer headless horseman (pictured), astronaut, witch dog, cowgirl, fire rescue dog and more.
Or you can go with a cat hat from SpoiledRottenKitties.com. They offer biker babe or buddy, and lil majesty. Full cat costumes sold include king cat, queen cat and kitty royale. Can you see a theme? Cats do behave royally.
GlamourDog.com has a wide selection of fun costumes: candy witch dog, killer whale dog, monkey dog, count dogula and plenty more. For lion, skunk, ladybug, leopard, butterfly, football or owl dog costumes, visit HandNPaws.com.

Several etsy sellers also offer handmade pet costumes. Just search for “halloween pet costumes.” I like the Witch Cat Hat with Purple Wig pictured above by ToScarboroughFair. Of course, my cat wouldn’t have it!
