way to let you know about the contents of this article. I almost couldn’t believe that I was reading about another newborn baby getting their toes ate off by some dog. Remember the first one had a mom actually sleep through her dog eating off her baby’s penis. Yes, that was a bit much but it is becoming more of a trend. Then there is the couple that recently allowed rats to eat their baby’s toes, another baby got toes ate off by a ferret.
In this case though the mom and dad were right there when the dog chewed off the baby’s toes. Apparently Robie Lynn Jenkins and her boyfriend Tremayne J. Spillman were watching the 12-week-old dog, a pittbull (not their own). The couple went to bed that night on a fold out couch, placing the baby in the middle, they also have two other children that slept in a nearby bedroom. (they were untouched) When they woke up they found the unrestrained pup chewing the baby’s toes. The baby was rushed to ER but doctors think the baby will lose the foot.
Here’s what the grandmother is saying:
“No one understands unless they have a child that this happens to,” Belinda Baker said. “It is something horrible. No one can imagine what she saw of her baby. The baby is doing good. As far as I know.”
“Anyone that has any type of animal this could happen to,” Baker said. “My daughter is a young person,” Baker said, “Busting her buns to do a lot for these children.”
What do you think? Either way this is a horrible thing to see happen and even worse for the little baby. Hopefully the baby will heal quickly without too much pain.
