I’m really excited about this giveaway, because it came from someone who is also a busy parent juggling a career and family.
For years now, I’ve done the Walk at Home DVDs from Leslie Sansone. Leslie is the creator of the original Walk at Home program, which are walking tapes that use virtually every muscle in your body. She says on her website that “what started as a few classes in church halls has grown into the number one walking program in the world, grossing over $200 million.”
When I contacted Leslie’s team, they were more than happy to send over some giveaway items for the Career and Kids readers. So I’ll have a bunch of fun giveaways here in the next few weeks and months.
And here’s the first one! It’s the “Family Walk” DVD, which is designed to get both kids and adults walking. It’s about a two-mile workout, and also includes a segment on how to talk with your kids about living a healthy life. One thing I appreciate about Leslie is that she’s also a parent. She has three kids and started her walking program in short to help fit in exercise after the birth of her third child.
