I’m soooooooooo excited! Cuddlebug is finally potty trained!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!
He’s been peeing in the potty for quite a while and about a week ago, he finally figured out that it was ok to poo too. Yay! He’s only had about 3 accidents in a week’s time. Not bad, I think. We’re using our last package of diapers for night time, but he’s even staying dry at night! Hooray! Can you imagine all the money I’ll save by not buying diapers?

hehe I bet you are one happy mom. ;) Oh and now you can buy more stuff. I can’t wait for mine to get out of the diaper and I’m not meaning just to pee on the floor.

e-z movers: We have a carpet steamer, so I put him in underwear. I noticed that whenever he had on a pull-up or diaper, he would have more accidents then when he had on underwear. Some kids are ready earlier than others. My little one demanded to be trained at 23 months old, but then has backed off several times due to being stubborn. He’ll be 3 in a few months and he’s trained now. My daughter (the smart one that she is) told me that she would do it when she turned 3 . . . and she did!
We told him he’d get money and candy if he pooped in the potty. We’ve been telling him that for months though. What is it about kids and pooping in the potty? My daughter was the same way! The first time he pooped in the potty we gave him $5. He knows that money buys things from the dollar store. lol
Congrats! How did you do it? DS has pee’d and poo’d once….
A friend told me to just put him in underwear….but I’m not sure how much I want to clean up all the little pee puddles.
Congratulations are in order! Give the little guy a treat too for doing a great job:D
Huge congrats to you and the Little Guy! We’re right there with you. We’ve been pooping in the potty for one week and two days now with only one accident. Once he decided to do it, he was all go. Only 2 nighttime accidents, so we’re right there with you in this! I think we should celebrate, what about you?! And I agree…I don’t know what we’ll be spending all of that diaper money on!
That ROCKS! So how are you going to celebrate?? And by you, I really mean you! The parents work so hard, especially if they stay home w/the kids, that I think they should celebrate! Job well done! Just in time for summer, too…no more carrying around a bag full of diapers for unpredictable accidents…ugh – I don’t miss that!
Congrats! My daughter still refuses to go poo – she asks for or steals pull ups when she has to go and hides until she’s finished her business.
