Since I’ve been on a clay kick lately, I was particularly impressed with this polymer clay photo transfer project for the January 2007 issue of Art Jewelry, “Transfer Your Favorite Photographs to Jewelry Using Polymer Clay.”
And here’s the link; just click on it to download this free project: artjewelry_polymer_01071.pdf
Here’s an interesting side note I got from the publishers of this magazine. One of the images used includes the founder of Kalmbach, Al Kalmbach, who is shown standing outside the company’s office December 15, 1933, with the entire press run — 272 copies — of Model Railroader magazine, the publication that started it all for Kalmbach Publishing Co.
This current copy of Art Jewelry magazine is available in most bookstores ($6.95 US; $8.95 Canada).
